Two cute Machine knit Wacky Wabbits just hanging out
I saw a crocheted version of this floating around the internet a year or so ago, so I decided I wanted to give it a try on my knitting machine. I grabbed my 32-pin, which was my newest one and I love it so much, and my 22-pin machine and got to work!
I LOVE bright colors when making things for spring, especially when it's still cold and dreary outside. The bright colors make me want to dance and sing like a Disney princess. These "Wacky Wabbits," as my sister-in-law named them, are great because you can use as many colors as you want! I am a little bit of an organizational weirdo, where I seem OCD at times, but others I thrive in chaos. These bunnies are my OCD times, so I only use a few colors and haven't gone crazy with them yet. But I just cannot wait to see what you do with them!
I typically like to stitch faces onto stuffed animals just in case they get into the hands of small children; however, you can use safety eyes and noses for your bunnies.
You should have a general knowledge of creating things with your circular knitting machines. If you get confused by something in the instructions, I have a YouTube channel with visual assistance. If I do not have a video of it, there are many out there that can help! I'll add a few below:

"Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of God." Hebrews 12:2
Finishing the body and sewing the Wabbit together
-Take your Wabbit body, which should be half done and looking like a small beanie.
-Stuff the body lightly.
-Place the legs in and on either side of the body and begin mattress-stitching closed, picking up stitches from the legs as you go. Start on one side and go around the legs, making sure you don't leave any openings. Stuff as you go if you need to. (If you're using safety eyes, place them before you sew the body closed)
-Sew the arms to either side of the bunny body.
-Sew the ears to the head.
-If you're stitching the eyes, nose and mouth, do so now.
-If you want to add any other embellishments, do so. Make them as pretty as you want. I add a little cross to all my Easter bunnies, because Jesus is the real reason for the season.♥
Please keep choking hazards off of toys that are intended for children under the age of 6, or that could possibly get into their little hands.
I can't wait to see what you create!
